Biographical Sketch

I am originally from a small town in south Mississippi. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and pets. I married my high-school sweetheart. We enjoy spending time outdoors and traveling, which we hope to do more of soon.

I completed my bachelor's degree in 2018 and went on to further my education in occupational therapy, completing my doctorate in 2022. My practice experience is primarily with the pediatric population. My passion is working with children with disabilities, and I have hopes to specialize in feeding and swallowing within this setting. I also have experience with working in outpatient adult and hospital settings. This past academic year, I have had the privilege of providing volunteer services to those adults and children in need at the ULM Occupational Therapy Clinic. I have always had a desire to serve and help others, and I find that to be one of the most fulfilling aspects of the profession of occupational therapy. I enjoy teaching others about the profession that I love, and it is an honor to be able to do that at ULM.
