Biographical Sketch

Rebecca Hamm is an assistant professor in the Radiologic Technology program. She has worked here at ULM since 2015 and teaches Radiographic Procedures I and II, Procedures Labs I and II, Patient Care Labs, and an Ethics & Law course. Mrs. Hamm previously worked at Baton Rouge General's Hospital based program as well as Saint Francis Medical Center as a Radiologic Technologist. Before starting her career here, she received a Bachelor's of Science in Radiologic Technology and a Master's of Education in Instructional Technology from ULM. Mrs. Hamm has received honors such as the Joe Schwartz Memorial Scholarship from the LSRT, attendance at the Student Leadership Development Program and the Leadership Academy from ASRT, and faculty membership from Lambda Nu, the National Honor Society in Radiologic Sciences. Mrs. Hamm founded the Rho Alpha Delta Chapter of Lambda Nu here at ULM in 2017, and she also serves as faculty advisor for Rho Alpha Delta and the professional radiologic technology society Chi Beta Gamma. In addition to here work responsibilities here at ULM and other professional work, Mrs. Hamm is a wife and mother of two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys refinishing furniture, painting, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Research Interests

Research interests include curriculum development for post-bacclaurette modalities, radiographic technique analysis, radiographic procedures, skeletal pathologies, and professional development techniques.
