Biographical Sketch

Ondrell S. Moore, PT, EdD, MHA received a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science from Centenary College of Louisiana in 1995, a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in 1997, and a Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies from Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2021. He has practiced as a licensed physical therapist for over 25 years in acute care, rehab, home health, and outpatient settings in Louisiana and Georgia, serving in Clinic Director and Team Leader roles in multiple outpatient facilities. Dr. Moore is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also certified in Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation through Owens Recovery Science. Dr. Moore currently serves as chair of the Academic Success Committee for the ULM Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and coordinator of the Assessment and Management of the Musculoskeletal System series.

Dr. Moore's research interests include spiritual leadership in physical therapy, the impact of academic intervention on student performance, and DEI in healthcare education.
