Biographical Sketch

 Dr. Hyun Chul Jung, an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, earned a Ph. D. in Exercise Physiology from Kyung Hee University in 2014. Before joining the ULM in fall 2016, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at Texas A&M University-San Antonio since spring 2015. Dr. Jung teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise science includes exercise physiology, motor learning and control, advanced exercise physiology, and cardiovascular physiology.

Research Interests

Dr. Jung's research interests include the bone growth and physical activity during childhood and adolescence as well as exercise performance specially targeted in Taekwondo athletes.
