Biographical Sketch

(2023) I am so pleased to have returned to ULM as full-time faculty, after having spent many years prior as Information Technology staff at the institution.  On the technical side, I have worked in programming, database administration, and enterprise systems deployment and migration.  On the functional side, I have implemented or worked on the implementation of several enterprise-level systems, including in the capacity of Functional Lead.  I have also worked in the areas of student success, recruitment, and retention, and in administrative capacities of enrollment management and campus administration.  As of this writing, I am resuming doctoral work in Information Systems, with full-time work resuming Academic Year 2023.

Licensure & Certification

Louisiana Certified Economic Developer, Louisiana Economic Development/Louisiana Industrial Development Executives Association. (July 15 2019 - Present)

Research Interests

On the technical level, my research interest areas are database implementations and deployment of Fintech applications.  On the business side, I have spent significant time and effort on adoption and effectiveness issues with respect to enterprise-level systems, specifically design principles, human-computer interactions, and electronic medical records (EMR) applications.  I also intend to pursue research in task-technology fit as an a guiding principle in system implementation.  For the social end of the socio-technical axis, my interests lie in specific implications of artificial intelligence applications, particularly in the ethics sphere.
