Biographical Sketch

Dr. Jen Hoh earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV in 2011 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University in 2016. She completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2017. Dr. Hoh completed a PGY2 Critical Care Residency in 2018 at Temple School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2018, Dr. Hoh and her husband migrated south from their hometown outside of Philadelphia, PA to New Orleans to join the College of Pharmacy as a Clinical Faculty member.

Dr. Hoh's clinical practice site is in the Emergency Department at University Medical Center New Orleans. There, she thrives in mentoring students and residents navigate the fast pace and complexity of emergency medicine while working with the care teams to immediately stabilize critically ill patients. Her clinical interests include trauma resuscitation, anticoagulation reversal and interdisciplinary care.

Dr. Hoh is an active member of Louisiana Society of Health System Pharmacists in which she was appointed the Co-Chair of the New Practitioner Committee, engaging students and residents as they transition to residents and new practitioners. She is also an active member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.

Outside of work, Dr. Hoh enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring everything New Orleans has to offer, with her husband and two daughters.
