Biographical Sketch

Mr. King is a tenured Associate Professor of Aviation/UAS Management, and Program Coordinator of Aviation/UAS Management for ULM's College of Business and Social Sciences, within the school of Management & Aviation. He began his 9th year at ULM in the Fall semester of 2019. Previously Mr. King was a tenured Associate Professor of Aviation, and Department/Budget Unit Head at Northwestern State University for 15.5 years. Prior to that he was an assistant chief flight instructor at Louisiana Tech University for 5 years. He currently has 24 years of service in Higher Education, with 29 years continual service in Higher Education in the State of Louisiana. Mr. King possess a Master of Art degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana Tech University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aviation from Louisiana Tech University. Mr. King have been an FAA certificated gold seal flight instructor for 38 years, and an FAA Commercial pilot for 38 years, and hold's an FAA Remote Pilot - small unmanned aircraft systems certificate.

Research Interests

His current research interests include aiding the Director of Flight Operations at ULM's Precision Agriculture and Unmanned Aircraft Systems s(UAS) Research Application Center in field operations and data acquisition, and pre and post flight operational duties.
