Biographical Sketch

Dr. Ruoxi Chen is an assistant professor of marriage and family therapy at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a doctorate in marriage and family therapy. Currently, she teaches the practice and research of marriage and family therapy to master's and doctoral students, and mentors them on developing their own research agenda and meeting their career goals. Dr. Chen is also a licensed marriage and family therapist and an AAMFT approved supervisor.
