This course is designed to instruct students in the art and science of minimal inhalation sedation using Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen.

This course is designed to instruct students in the art and science of minimal inhalation sedation using Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen. The course encompasses evaluation of the child and adult patient prior to administration, management of the patient during administration, and the management of medical emergencies.

The course consists of 15 didactic hours (5 weeks) online study and 8 hours of clinical practice. The student will come to ULM on Friday August 4th from 1:00-5:00 pm and again on Saturday August 5th from 9:00 am – 1:00pm to complete the clinical component.

Class dates: July 3rd through August 5th, 2017 – didactic portion

                    August 4th and 5th, 2017 – clinical portion
