Would you like to take your education to the next level by becoming an Electrocardiograph Technician?

This comprehensive EKG Technician Program prepares students to function as EKG Technicians. This course will include important practice and background information on anatomy and physiology of the heart, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics, legal aspects of patient contact, electrocardiography and stress testing.  Additionally, students will practice with EKG equipment and perform hands on labs including introduction to the function and proper use of the EKG machine, the normal anatomy of the chest wall for proper lead placement, 12-lead placement and other clinical practices.

Note: This program includes national certification opportunities for students!

*Exam candidates must be 18 or older and currently possess a high school diploma or GED or acquire such within 12 months of exam to retain certification.


*ULM may cancel a class before the start date due to low enrollment.
Course requirement- minimum of 6 students in order to meet.
